Job Title: Accounts Manager
Department: Finance & Administration
Reports To: Director of Finance / Managing Director

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure proper cash flow management.
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Generate and analyze financial statements and provide insights to leadership.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and recommend corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure timely filing of government and statutory returns (e.g., NHI, SSB, payroll taxes).
- Maintain financial controls and systems in accordance with company policy and regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals.
- Supervise accounting staff, assign duties, and review work for accuracy.
- Implement process improvements and accounting best practices.
- Train and mentor junior staff as needed.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or other ERP systems).
- Ensure proper digital recordkeeping and reconciliation workflows.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, logistics, or service-based industries.

Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
