Overview
Guana Island Hotel Corporation is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to work as part of a small culinary team. Must have appropriate culinary and hotel experience, ideally at small island resort properties or private islands, be able to produce high quality International and Caribbean cuisine and follow recipe and presentation specifications. The successful candidate should be familiar with professional resort kitchen operations, be hospitality driven, flexible and ready to put the guest experience first. The position will also include daily and deep cleaning duties, storeroom inventory control and guest interaction.
The position requires working flexible hours that include weekend, evening and public holidays and will require some sleeping overnight on island in a shared room. Minimum two years in culinary services essential. Applicants must be highly motivated and proactive.
