Job Title: Groundsman Supervisor
Department: Office of the City Manager / Wickham’s Cay Development Authority
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor (Directly), City Manager (Indirectly)
Job Overview
The Wickham’s Cay Development Authority is seeking a Groundsman Supervisor to lead and
oversee grounds men and maintenance operations. This role ensures that outdoor spaces are safe,
functional, and visually appealing through effective supervision of staff and coordination of
maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and direct the daily activities of groundskeeping staff
• Plan and schedule routine and grounds maintenance programs
• Oversee mowing, trimming, pruning, irrigation, and general landscape care
• Ensure proper use, maintenance, and storage of equipment and tools
• Communicate with management regarding maintenance needs and priorities
Qualifications & Skills
• Experience in grounds maintenance, landscaping, or a related field
• Strong leadership and team supervision skills
• Knowledge of landscaping practices
• Ability to operate and oversee the use of landscaping equipment, machinery and staff.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Minimum High School Diploma
